Campfire Text Wolf Picture

Campfire Programs are a fun and educational opportunity to listen to unique and entertaining stories about wolves. Not "Little Red Riding Hood" or "The Three Little Pigs" - our campfire circle is reserved for stories that show the wolf in a good light. We have a variety of stories to entertain children and adults.

After all the stories are told, everyone walks about one half mile round trip to an area near the wolf enclosures. There we attempt to get the wolves to howl by howling singly and in groups. Our wolves usually answer us but, like all wild animals, they are unpredictable. Sometimes they don't cooperate no matter what we do!

After the wolves have (hopefully) sung their hearts out, everyone returns to have hot cocoa or cider, cookies and an opportunity to purchase items from our gift shop.
